HBO’s The White Lotus returns for season 2 on Sunday, October 30 and this time, audiences will be taken to Sicily. I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Aubrey Plaza, Will Sharpe, Jennifer Coolidge, Jon Gries, Haley Lu Richardson, Adam DiMarco, Meghann Fahy, Theo James, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Sabrina Impacciatore, Simona Tabasco, and Beatrice Grannò!
The social satire is set at an exclusive Sicilian resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.
Aubrey Plaza (HARPER SPILLER) recently starred in Emily The Criminal and Best Sellers. She is well known for her roles in Legion, Parks & Recreation, Black Bear, Ingrid goes West, and Happiest Season.
Will Sharpe’s (ETHAN SPILLER) credits include Casualty, Defending the Guilty, Giri/Haji, Flowers, and The Darkest Universe. He also voiced a character in The House.
Jennifer Coolidge (TANYA MCQUOID-HUNT) won the 2022 Primetime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie” for season 1 of The White Lotus. Most recently, she can be seen in The Watcher. Some of her noteworthy roles are in Legally Blonde, 2 Broke Girls, A Cinderella Story, and American Pie.
Jon Gries (GREG) is reprising his role from season 1 of The White Lotus. Other work includes Napoleon Dynamite, The Pretender, Men in Black, Lost, Real Genius, Dream Corp, and Taken 2.
Haley Lu Richardson’s (PORTIA) film work includes Five Feet Apart, The Edge of Seventeen, Split, Unpregnant, The Last Survivors, The Chaperone, and Montana Story. On television, she was in Recovery Road and Ravenswood.
Adam DiMarco (ALBIE DI GRASSO) is best known for roles in The Magicians, The Order, Pillow Talk, Radio Rebel, Arctic Air, Zapped, Star Trek Beyond, as well as Date and Switch.
Meghann Fahy (DAPHNE SULLIVAN) can be recognized for The Bold Type and One Life to Live. Additional projects include The Jim Gaffigan Show, The Good Wife, Necessary Roughness, Political Animals, Chicago Fire, Gossip Girl, The Lost Valentine, and Miss Sloane.
Theo James (CAMERON SULLIVAN) is known for his role in the Divergent films and just starred in The Time Traveler’s Wife. F. Murray Abraham’s (BERT DI GRASSO) television roles include Kojak, Marco Polo, Homeland, Mythic Quest, Moon Knight, and Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. His notable film work includes Scarface, Amadeus, Serpico, and The Name of the Rose.
Michael Imperioli (DOMINIC DI GRASSO) is widely recognized for The Sopranos. The actor was also in Goodfellas, Law & Order, Life on Mars, The Lovely Bones, Detroit 1-8-7, The Call, Mad Dogs, One Night in Miami…, Bad Boys, Last Man Standing, Summer of Sam, and The Many Saints of Newark.
