2023 is a good year to be a Mario Brother! Just last week, guests at Universal Studios Hollywood got to experience the first US iteration of Super Nintendo Land, and in just two months, the plucky Italian plumbers are getting their very own animated movie (I would say “first movie” if I could, but that title is unfortunately tainted, and no amount of revisionist history can change that).
But it’s time to let the past be the past and start over, because so far, everything that Universal Pictures, Nintendo, and Illumination have revealed about The Super Mario Bros. Movie looks amazing. And this week, the trend continued!
The studios teamed up to announce that on March 9th’s Nintendo Direct, the final trailer for the upcoming release will be revealed, and to celebrate, they gave us some new promo art featuring some Mario Kart, and the iconic Rainbow Road!
