Apple TV+ Shares First Look at Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried in ‘The Crowded Room’

Spider-Man is pivoting to television. Apple TV+ has shared a first look at its upcoming limited series The Crowded Room, starring Tom Holland, Amanda Seyfried, and Emmy Rossum. The 10-episode series is set to premiere globally on June 9, with the first three episodes dropping at once and the rest releasing on a weekly basis.

Per its official plot description, The Crowded Room “follows Danny Sullivan (Holland), a man who is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. A captivating thriller told through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), Danny’s life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him, and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation.”

The Crowded Room also stars Sasha Lane, Will Chase, and Lior Raz. Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski, and Zachary Golinger appear as guest stars. The series was created by Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind) and inspired by Daniel Keyes’ non-fiction novel The Minds of Billy Milligan. Goldsman serves as executive producer alongside Holland, Alexandra Milchan, Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer. Kornel Mundruczo, who directed the pilot and several additional episodes, also executive produces. The project is a co-production between Apple Studios and New Regency.
