Drawers, Floors, Doors, Let’s Go, as Disney is Celebrating Hispanic Heritage month with a magical New Meet & Greet! Beginning today, September 15, 2023, guests can step into a colorful courtyard outside the Casa Madrigal to Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto.

The new character encounter is available daily in the Fairytale Garden within Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort located in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

This wouldn’t be the first time the character has appeared at one of the Disney resorts and theme parks. Last year, Mirabel welcomed guests at Disneyland’s California Adventure during the Festival of Holidays. Guests were also able to find her at Disneyland’s Frontierland where she stood in front of the family mural. However, the Mirabel meet-and-greet at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will be slightly different as guests will be able to say hello and take pictures with her just outside Casa Madrigal. So if you or your family are eager to take a picture with the glasses-wearing heroine, then its probably best you slice a little bit of your time in your schedule for that.

As you can see from the images Disney provided, Casa Madrigal will have orange and golden yellow-colored banners of the members of the Madrigal family decorated all over the garden. The imagery is supposed to evoke that same feeling you had when you saw those same illuminant doors light up to know who’s bedroom it belongs to and their respective magical powers. One banner has Abeula holding the magic candle that manifested the sentient home, and the other has her daughter, Julieta, holding a pair of dishes which signify he ability to heal with any dish she cooks.

No word yet if Bruno is hiding in the walls or if a piano would just randomly bounce in to break up any Madrigal family tension.
