The Nerds of Color was given a preview of Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure’s Festival of Holidays event, which included viewing the merchandise offered at the parks and some on ShopDisney. There were just so many beautiful items available, it’s hard to pick just one.

We decided to call out some of our favorites from this year’s holiday options.

For the headgear lover:

As a fan of Disney ears and bucket hats, Disney has decided to combine the two to create a Mickey Mouse Ear Holiday Bucket Hat for adults. It’s not only showcasing Disney and the holidays, but is also really comfortable. The staff said that it is reversible, but after many attempts, it doesn’t seem to be so.

For the Shoes lover:

Disney made Mickey Mouse and Friends Holiday Clogs for Adults by Crocs for both adults and children! As a fan of Disney AND Crocs, this was the perfect combination for the holidays! The design is so beautiful showcasing beloved characters alongside mistletoe, holiday trees, and gifts. Honestly, crocs are so comfortable to wear at the Disney Parks.

For around the house:

The Mickey Mouse Icon Holiday Ornament Pillow is one of the softest pillows to touch. It was actually quite large, but SO squishy. I was in love at first squeeze.

For the mug collector:

The best décor-turned-useful-item has to be the Disney Classics Christmas Mug and Coaster Set. It’s practical to use for the holidays. You simple use the mug and the coaster serves as decoration.

For the Bag Collector:

I love innovative ideas when it comes to fashion. Sure, you can have a pretty bag, but one that lights up to symbolize the culture is another level. The Mickey and Minnie Mouse Hanukkah Light-Up Loungefly Mini Backpack actually lights up each candle for each day of Hanukkah. Of course, it’s not automatic. As you light up your Menorah, you can click to light up another light on the bag alongside it!

For the Spirit Jersey lover:

The Festival of Holidays Spirit Jersey, available only at Disney California Adventure, is not only festive, but it’s also SUPER SOFT on the bottom. It seems they used a softer fleece to keep you warm during the cold winter nights (for Southern California weather).

For the Encanto Lover:

Disney’s Encanto is getting fancy with their Disney’s Encanto Winter Collection of plates, cups, and table dressing. Only available at the Disney Parks, the Encanto Appetizer Plates (set of 4), Serving Plate, Table Runner, and Tall Glasses are perfect for a fancy ¡Viva Navidad!  or Three Kings Day celebration!

For The Popcorn Bucket Lover

Disney Parks has done it again with the cutest popcorn buckets. Like the Halloween Mickey Mouse in a Skeleton costume, they created a Mickey Mouse as a Toy Soldier with Trumpet. When you open the back lid to get popcorn, the trumpet is lifted to his mouth! Hurry to buy this at only Disneyland because they do sell out pretty quickly.
