Disney Offering Sweet and Savory Eats at Food and Wine Festival 2024

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, their annual delicious culinary event, makes its grand return in March. The other happiest place on Earth is expected to have some irresistible limited-time menu items inspired by California’s diverse culinary scene at Disney California Adventure Park and select locations in the Downtown Disney District, and introduce Earth Eats, a new festival marketplace.

Guests who are expected to enjoy the festivities are encouraged to bring their appetites and thirst as there will be plenty of delectables and drinks. This year, there are more than 80 new items.

S’mores Caramel Tart at California Craft Brews and IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Parm Bites (pictured above) at Earth Eats. But no need to worry. There are plenty of returning California staples back to fill your bellies, like the Grilled Top Sirloin at Garlic Kissed and Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS bar pieces at Nuts About Cheese.

There will be food carts spread throughout the park, each one not like the other, so that there is a variety of offers. As such, guests are also encouraged to Sip and Savor Pass, a special, commemorative credential that lets you sample different food and non-alcoholic beverage items at participating locations anytime throughout the festival. New this year, the pass is available in either a four-coupon or eight-coupon version, giving you options for just the right amount. Both are available for purchase at various locations throughout Disney California Adventure park.

For those who want to get the full Food and Wine experience, you may want to embark on an epicurean adventure across Disney California Adventure Park. At the  Sonoma Terrace, guests can attend Michelada, Beer, and Wine tasting seminars. Additionally, there will be Ethel M Chocolate & Wine Parings. It’s important to know that you need to make reservations prior to attending these events.

Over at the Carthay Circle, guests are invited to join Wine Ambassador Jared Gutierrez for an international tour of the wines of the Baja region. Or they can join Tony Lombardi for a delightful evening sampling a selection of four Lombardi wines. If neither Baja or Lombardi wines aren’t to your tasting, consider Nat Komes for a delightful evening sampling a selection of four Flora Springs Napa Valley Family Estate wines. All these wine events will have wins paired with an appetizer created by the incomparable Carthay Circle Restaurant culinary team. These will also be an event that requires a reservation.

Venture over to the Disneyland Hotel for the Trader Sam’s Tiki Mixology Seminar where you’ll learn to make one of their legendary libations, and even get a souvenir mug to take home with you. Hearthstone Lounge will play host to A Walk on the Silverado Trail filled with delicious bites and beverages, including some of the finest California wines at the hotel.

There is so much to do — or should I say eat and drink from March 1 through April 22, 2024.  So take a look at the Disney Parks Blog for the full Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival menu list.
