‘The Boys’ Season 4 Trailer is Badder and Bloodier Than Ever

Just when you thought a body exploding from the penis from Season 3, Prime Video’s hit series, The Boys, released the trailer for Season 4, filled with more blood and guts everywhere.

The stakes are higher than ever with Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) on borrowed time (dying due to his V24 usage) to make things right for his beloved dead wife — and save her son, Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), from the influence of Homelander (Anthony Starr). In the trailer, we see Billy approach his Supe-fighting team — Hughie (Jack Quaid), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Marvin (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capone), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) — and ask for their help to defeat the Homelander and his rising evil empire. On the other end of the spectrum, Homelander believes superheroes who are loyal to him are the only way the country can be saved—even if they must commit acts of murder.

Connecting from The Boys spin-off Gen V, Billy discovers a virus that can only kill supes and plans on using it on Homelander. The plan sounds good, but the execution sounds pretty violent — as expected.

Also, Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) is closer to getting a spot in the White House under Homelander’s thumb. So there’s that problem with the Blood supe.

The Boys also stars Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Colby Minifie, and Season 4 newcomers Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The Boys Season 4 premieres on June 13 on Prime Video.
