In T-Minus one year, The Man of Steel will be flying back onto our screens! James Gunn’s Superman will be hitting theaters on July 11, 2025. To celebrate, we got a first official look at the new Superman logo.
Today, via social media, the man, the myth, the legend, James Gunn commemorated the official one-year mark to the release of Superman by sharing the best look at the new emblem for the Last Son of Krypton.

Gunn has been busy shooting the film in Cleveland, and things seem to be turning out stellar. The all star cast of Superman stars David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois, and Nicholas Holt as Lex Luthor.
Despite being a year out, so much work has already been put into the film, and among several of the characters expected to appear are Guy Gardner’s Green Lantern, Mister Terrific, Hawkgirl, and potentially Supergirl. That being said, this is only the beginning of what’s going to be an epic journey to properly tell the story of the greatest superhero of all time!
