The Nerds of Color have received an exclusive clip of tonight’s St. Denis Medical episode, ‘Listen to Your Ladybugs.’ The clip features Val (Kaliko Kauahi) tending to a dementia patient who suffered a fall and repeating the phrase, “You don’t have to be good.”

In tonight’s episode, Bruce (Josh Lawson) faces an existential crisis after being named one of the Top Doctors in the Northwest. He takes the patient’s words to heart as he deals with his ego.

“Well, in my case, you might be mistaken,” Bruce tells the patient. “See, I’m a trauma surgeon, so I have to be better than good. I have to be perfect.” Val interrupts him by telling him the patient isn’t talking to him.
