‘The Basement Yard’ Will Officially be Part of the MCU
Well, sort of.
This morning, to prepare fans for Avengers: Doomsday, Disney and Marvel Studios has announced the Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast to be hosted The Basement Yard’s biggest nerd, Frank Alvarez and the MCU’s biggest nerd, Ms. Marvel herself, Iman Vellani.
The five-episode rewatch podcast will revisit all the major moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will be essential to remember before Doomsday hits theaters in December.
Whether hosting an official Marvel podcast will be as life-changing to Alvarez as Wild Berry Spider-Man Pop Tarts remains to be seen.
The podcast will launch this Friday, August 27 and air weekly. The final episode of the podcast will coincide with the September 25 re-release of Avengers: Endgame Encore in theaters.
Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast will be available on Disney+ and YouTube, with the audio-only version available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
