So the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) has come to an end, at least for me. This year, I helped put together the poster show which was a LOT of work. More than I expected, to be perfectly honest. But it was worth every sore muscle and second that was put into it.
As usual Goran, Rufus, Samuel, James, and Grady put on an amazing event. It was just so much fun to be a part of. I’m just going to let these pictures do the talking for me.

Being interviewed by Sino Vision’s Lani Nelson.
The good news is that it looks like we’ll be doing this again next year. And now that I have the experience of this first show, I really am looking forward on correcting some things and making it even better next year.
One of the cooler things to happen was getting interviewed by Yichen Tu for Chinese language newspaper The World Journal. My mother used to be a writer and editor for the paper a very long time ago.
The show will be up until July 14, so there’s still time to go check it out. And don’t forget to catch any of the amazing films being played at the festival as well. You can see the full schedule here.
And finally, a big thank you to all the contributing artists:
Larry Hama, Bernard Chang, John Jennings, Glenn Urieta, Sooj Lee & Jef Castro, and of course my friend Ken Knudtsen.
