Test Your Might with These New Images from ‘Mortal Kombat’

We’re getting a Mortal Kombat reboot this year folks! That’s right! From producer James Wan, and directed by newcomer, Simon McQuoid, the latest and greatest adaptation of everyone’s favorite gore and blood-filled fighting game franchise is hitting theaters and HBO Max April 16, 2021!

This past week, WB unveiled the first images from the reboot, and I gotta tell you all, we’re a long way from the 1995 PG-13 version! Don’t get me wrong, the first was a classic (the second was god awful), but it’s definitely time for an all-out R-rated reboot! Here’s hoping this erases the memory of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.
