NOC Exclusive Interview: Actor/Musician, Alan Z

Heyyy! What’s going on everybody! It’s your boy, Kuya P and I recently had the pleasure of sitting down for a NOC Exclusive interview with Actor/Musician, Alan Z! We go all the way in regarding his creative journey: from the seed to now but before we do, get familiar and check out his latest single, “The Chip” and then watch my interview with this talented star!

Having lived in three different continents during his childhood, Alan Z was oblivious to the concept of culture shock from the jump. With the experiences he gained in each place he lived, he began his musical journey as a rap artist at the age of 12. Influenced by Eminem, 2Pac, Michael Jackson, Big Pun, The Weeknd, Chino XL, and among many others, Alan Z strives to be a trailblazer for Asian-Americans in the entertainment industry. At the age of 15, he started creating a large female fanbase when he started singing in school and local ciphers. Alan Z developed a love for acting in high school when he performed in theatre and improv. After high school, he studied acting at Emory University. Then Alan Z started seeing opportunities to present themselves in Atlanta and he began amassing support. Since then, he has worked musically with King Los, Full Force, Raphael Saadiq, Shanice Wilson, Tabitha of Kut Klose, and more. You can hear his music being featured on Netflix’s Wu Assassins, CW’s iZombie, and more. While Alan Z began to start producing his own skits, he got motivated to go out for actual roles. He can be seen in TV series, “Being Mary Jane” and “Star.” He has a role in two upcoming movies (currently postponed due to the pandemic).
