Chyler Leigh Owns Our Screens With ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Return and Final Season Premiere of ‘Supergirl’

The moment fans have been waiting for is finally here, Chyler Leigh is making her return to Grey’s Anatomy this Thursday in “Breathe.” Leigh left the show back at the end of season 8 after joining in season 3 as Lexie Grey. Her death devastated fans, her final scenes ensuring there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Lexie was Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) half-sister, and she will be making an appearance on the beach as both Derek and George have done. Meredith is facing the ultimate choice right now: life or death. This is where Lexie comes in. The beautiful thing about the beach and Lexie’s return is both Meredith and the audience getting closure for all of these beloved characters.

As if that wasn’t enough to get fans excited, Supergirl is returning for its sixth and final season on Tuesday (9 -10 pm ET) on The CW. Leigh portrays Alex, Kara’s foster sister, and the character is a member of the LGBTQ community, coming out in season 2, which was an impactful journey to see done on screen. This season, the characters will confront issues of social justice, such as prejudice, racism, and intolerance.

Leigh continues to shine in each role she tackles, both Lexie and Alex forever having a special place in fans’ hearts. Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays and Supergirl has new episodes Tuesdays.
