EPISODE 027 SPECIAL GUEST: Zedrick Restauro

BIO: Filipino American actor, Zedrick Restauro is an up-and-comer in the industry, with a long career and a bright future ahead of him. He started his TV career guest-starring on the Freeform sitcom Melissa and Joey and in only six years since, has amassed seventeen TV credits to his name. Restauro has held his own in scenes opposite powerhouse actors of color Viola Davis, Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. He has also performed opposite fellow Fil-Ams Darren Criss and Vanessa Hudgens. Restauro has been directed in projects by Matt Bomer, Pamela Adlon, Andrew McCarthy, I Tonya’s Craig Gillespie, and Ghost In The Shell’s Rupert Sanders. He has been cast in Emmy-winning shows American Crime Story, How To Get Away With Murder, Modern Family, and G.L.O.W. Other notable shows include Good Girls, Teen Wolf, New Girl, Major Crimes and many more. Zedrick has been cast in ten commercials, most of them nationals that have aired across the country, as well as six feature films that can be watched on Netflix and other streaming sites.

Restauro was born and raised in the Philippines, and is an immigrant living his American dream. In his spare time he likes to play video games, read, eat, go hiking with friends, and eat some more. He hates jogging and thinks it is the worst. Restauro loves being Tito to his three nephews and four nieces. Once the pandemic is over, he looks forward to being in community again with the Fil-Am filmmaking community in Los Angeles, a vibrant, creative, and supportive group of people he loves being a part of.
