Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the creator of the hit CW series, shared the news on Instagram, thrilling fans who have greatly missed the talented trio. Ashleigh Murray (Josie), Hayley Law (Valerie), and Asha Bromfield (Melody) will make their return to Riverdale in episode 5×15.
Chapter Ninety-One: “THE RETURN OF THE PUSSYCATS” is written by Ariana Jackson and Evan Kyle. The episode is directed by another familiar face, Robin Givens, who plays Josie’s mother, Sierra McCoy.
The show is currently on its fifth season and had its mid-season finale (episode 5×10) on March 31. Riverdale is set to come back with new episodes on August 11.
Seeing Murray, Law, and Bromfield on the show again will definitely make the episode an automatic fan favorite. Not to mention, they will no doubt give us a bunch of fantastic new tunes for our next playlist.
