‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ Begins Production

Earlier today, director James Wan posted a photo via his Instagram commemorating the beginning of shooting for the upcoming highly anticipated sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

While little is known about the film’s plot, since the reveal of the film’s title a few weeks ago, many have been speculating it has to do with the lost kingdom that was alluded to in the first Aquaman film.

Along with the reveal that the cameras are now rolling, Wan teased a very chilly looking set, along with the working title for the film, “Necrus.” So if you’re driving around LA and you see a production sign that says “Necrus,” you know they’re shooting nearby!

Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled to hit theaters December 2022.
