Here’s Your First Look at Netflix’s ‘The Power of the Dog’
The Power of the Dog stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, and Kodi Smit-McPhee. From writer-director Jane Campion, the new film is an adaptation of Thomas Savage’s novel. The Power of the Dog will be released in select theaters November 17 and begin streaming on Netflix December 1.
The year is 1925. A charismatic yet fearsome rancher begins to torment his brother’s new wife and son, until he’s exposed to the possibility of love.
