Man or Beast? The Official Trailer for Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Nightmare Alley’ Debuts

STEP RIGHT UP, FOLKS, BECAUSE GUILLERMO DEL TORO IS BACK!

There’s not much more I need to say to generate excitement in fans all over the globe, including yours truly!

Del Toro is an artist, and a fanboy! And for me, he’s the most exciting filmmaker working today! When he’s not showcasing his cabinet of curiosities with us via Netflix, he’s telling the most bold and daring, yet hauntingly beautiful stories about the human condition through fractured fairy tales. And now, Del Toro is following up his Oscar-winning classic, The Shape of Water with a film that looks darker, more suspenseful, yet no less gorgeous: Nightmare Alley!

Here’s a look at the captivating trailer for the film, which just debuted:

In addition to Del Toro’s name, the film boasts a veritable who’s who of today’s most phenomenal actors: Cate Blanchett, Bradley Cooper, Willem Dafoe, Toni Collette, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, and David Strathairn!

Per Searchlight:

In Nightmare Alley, an ambitious carny (Bradley Cooper) with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who is even more dangerous than he is.

This week, Searchlight Pictures also dropped the noir-ish looking poster for the film, featuring Cooper, which you can see below!

I seriously can’t wait for this one to come out already!

Nightmare Alley hits theaters December 17!
