Kevin James and Taylor Lautner star in Home Team, which is based on the true story of New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton. James takes on the role of Sean Payton and Lautner portrays coach Troy Lambert. The film releases January 28 on Netflix.
Two years after a Super Bowl win when NFL head coach Sean Payton is suspended, he goes back to his hometown and finds himself reconnecting with his 12 year old son by coaching his Pop Warner football team.

Lautner is best known for his role as Jacob Black in Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. His other notable film credits include The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Valentine’s Day, Abduction, Grown Ups 2, Tracers, The Ridiculous 6, and Run the Tide. The actor can also be seen in Scream Queens, Cuckoo, as well as My Own Worst Enemy.
I had the chance to speak with the duo about reuniting after previously working together on Grown Ups 2, making a film that the whole family can enjoy, as well as mixing the comedy and drama genres.
