The anticipated second season of Shadow and Bone has recently finished filming, which unfortunately means there’s no content for the series to show fans during Netflix Geeked Week. But they didn’t want to leave us hanging and had a video made just for the fans revealing some details from the upcoming season.
“Love!” says Archie Renaux, who plays Mal, says about what season two of Shadow and Bone is about. “Power! Heartbreak!” Jessie Mei Li, who plays Alina Stark, added to the love aspect, “Full of love!” The Darkling himself, actor Ben Barnes says this season is “bigger, bolder, badder.”
As for the new characters, Jack Wolfe, who plays book fan favorite Wylan Hendriks, says his character is “underestimated.” Anna Leong Brophy (Tamar Kir-Bataar) tells fans to expect her character to be “fierce” — with many of the cast choosing Tamar’s Ax skills over Jesper’s pistols.
