Jeff Goldblum on How ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ Serves as the End of the Jurassic Era

Jeff Goldblum returns as Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World Dominion. The actor also previously made an appearance in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The film, which is now in theaters, will be the conclusion of the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time.

From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

Goldblum originally portrayed the character in Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

I had a wonderful time speaking with the actor about what he wants the Jurassic era legacy to be, how the films have been passed down through generations, fan experiences, his character’s evolution, and more!
