SDCC 2022: ‘She-Hulk’ and ‘Secret Invasion’ Represent Disney+ in Hall H

After the casts of She-Hulk: Attorney-at-Law and Secret Invasion took the Hall H stage at Comic-Con, they spoke to Ron from POC Culture on the press line to talk about the next two streaming series to come to Disney+.

First up, Ron spoke with She-Hulk herself, Tatiana Maslany about how she connected to playing Jennifer Walters. Later, Jameela Jamil stopped by and proudly claimed to be an official Friend of the NOC before we spoke to directors Kat Cora and Anu Valia, and show runner Jessica Gao.

We also spoke with Secret Invasion star Cobie Smulders, who will be reprising the role of Agent Maria Hill. She couldn’t give too many details of the upcoming series starring Samuel L. Jackson, but discussed what it was like to work alongside the legendary actor for over a decade.

She also gave a slight hint that the Skrulls we saw in Captain Marvel may not be as benevolent as they appear so far in the MCU. “I think that [Maria] really thought she had a handle on things and was doing a great job,” Smulders told us. “And then she learns the magnitude of the Skrull population. So I think that really pulls the rug out from under her.”

She-Hulk: Attorney-at-Law starts streaming on Disney+ on August 17. Secret Invasion will debut in Spring of 2023.
