First Look at Lady Gaga in ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by offering a first look at the most toxic couple in all of comics? Well, that’s exactly what Todd Phillips did on Instagram by revealing our first look at Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn from next year’s highly anticipated sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux.

Apparently, Gaga’s role hasn’t been confirmed, but most people assume she’s taking over the role of Harley Quinn. In the image, we find Gaga holding Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker with a look of simultaneous fear and desire, while he gazes back lovingly at her. I dunno. Sounds pretty Harley Quinn to me.

We’ll know for sure in October 2024 when the movie — rumored to be a musical, as well — is released in theaters.

The Oscar-winning singer/actress took to twitter at the same time to share the image, with the film’s subtitle and a Joker emoji:

Joker: Folie à Deux will be released on October 4, 2024.
