Tom Cruise is flying high off of Top Gun: Maverick; the movie that saved Hollywood’s box office… after Shang Chi, Venom 2, and Spider-Man: No Way Home also saved Hollywood’s box office! Nevertheless, the one thing we know about Cruise is he brings the quality, the excitement, and the commitment to all his projects. And because of this, the Mission: Impossible franchise has just gotten better and better with each installment. Now we have the latest trailer for this summer’s Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One. And it looks as astonishing as ever!

Like Fast and Furious (but much, much better) the Mission: Impossible franchise was something pundits were willing to write off after the third film. But once Ghost Protocol hit and Cruise began collaborating more and more with the terrific Christopher McQuarrie, the franchise got a renewed life. Stuntwork and action were incredible! The stories were more intriguing. The ensemble much more interesting! And at the center of it all was the dedication of Cruise himself, and his willingness to put his body on the line for our entertainment; showcasing true craftsmanship with every punch, jump, kick, and death-defying moment ever put to celluloid.

The film reunites Cruise with his IMF buddies, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, and Vanessa Kirby, but also brings Captain Carter herself, Hayley Atwell into the mix along with the always wonderful Pom Klementieff, riding high off her terrific performance as Mantis in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3!
