Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

“There were so many things to do that were amazing, like from the midway of the World’s Fair to the Ferris Wheel, to the Hofbräu, where we first meet Timely,” Farahani shared about the third episode of this season, which he also directed. “I would say maybe my favorite though is Timely’s lab at the end in Wisconsin, we imagined it as a mannequin factory that had been shut down that he’d leased as his workspace, which is why there’s all these mannequins kind of still floating around, pushed to the side. That was a really beautiful set that we got to build and it was lit so beautifully by our DP Isaac Bauman and Mark, his gaffer. They’re a fantastic team.”

We discussed why working on the series is so much fun, his favorite props, which time period he would love to design, the details for “1893,” and more.
