‘Loki’ Costume Designer Christine Wada on Working with Tom Hiddleston and the New Season

Christine Wada is the costume designer for Marvel Studios’ Loki. New episodes of the second season are released on Thursdays at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET, exclusively on Disney+.

Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

There are plenty of incredible Marvel characters, but Wada tells me that there’s only one she wants to design for: “I would actually just love to continue to work with Tom. His dedication to this character is so incredible and really, I would love to see where he could take it.”
