Wow! When I woke up this morning, the last thing I expected was to watch a trailer for a Dreamworks animated movie that would make me emotional. But today, Dreamworks Animation and Universal dropped a trailer and poster for their upcoming release, The Wild Robot. And simply put, it looks epic!
The Wild Robot comes from Chris Sanders, the man famous for Lilo and Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Croods. All of which made me tear up! He adapts the film from the best-selling novel by Peter Brown. Check out the trailer below:
The movie is a story about self discovery as a robot stranded in the wilderness must learn to survive, making lasting friendships with the wild life along the way. It stars the vocal talents of Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, and Bill Nighy.
It truly looks like something special!
