Production Designer Howard Cummings on Creating the Apocalypse in ‘Fallout’

Fans of the games will know the world of Fallout is not an easy one to adapt. The work involved in taking a property this insane and bringing it to life requires unparalleled talent and dedication. Fortunately, when Jonathan Nolan and his team accepted the job to adapt the beloved games into Prime Video’s hit series they brought on acclaimed Westworld production designer, Howard Cummings to get the job done!

Cummings had a major challenge ahead of him! The beloved Bethesda games have their own unique style that have won over the hearts of millions of fans everywhere for years. So not only having to translate the world into live action, but also do so in a way that’s satisfying to the fanbase was a huge priority for Nolan and Prime Video. But as fans now know given the terrific response to the show, Cummings and his crew easily knocked it out of the park!
