Director Joseph Kosinski is perhaps one of the most underrated filmmakers working today. Say what you will, but I loved the hell out of Tron: Legacy. And naturally, everyone saw and loved Top Gun: Maverick, a movie no one expected to make over $1B at the box office, let alone walk away with a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars. But now Kosinski is following up his need for speed with another picture about speed, teaming up with Brad Pitt to bring us F1!

F1 will see Pitt as a former Formula 1 driver, returning to the racing scene after being away for years. Not much else is known about the plot, but per Warner Bros. and Apple Films, the movie was shot on actual Grand Prix weekends, and the racing shots look absolutely sick! F1 will be coming out next Summer 2025, and will also star Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo. The film will be produced by Pitt himself, as well as legendary action producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, with a script by Ehren Kruger.
