It’s hard to believe San Diego Comic-Con was a full week ago folks. And one of the biggest highlights to come from the Con was the amazing Blerd and Boujee Party hosted by Prime Video’s Culture Rated! We were given the amazing opportunity to partake in the annual event, and we wanted to (nostalgically) look back on it and share it with you all, given we are missing Comic-Con fiercely!

The stage was set at Venue 808 near Petco Park in San Diego. And the brightest stars had come out for the evening ready to get together over amazing food, drinks, and music, to celebrate nerd culture with us, the POC fans! Everything was adorned in Rings of Power decor, having just celebrated a party for the acclaimed series at that venue earlier. But the evening would bring, not orcs or wizards, but celebrities and fans eager to share in the pure, unadulterated joy and feeling of being a POC nerd at Comic Con!

Among the veritable who’s who of guests who turned out for the incredible festivities were Yvette Nicole Brown, Omari Hardwick, Malcolm Barrett, M3GAN and Malignant screenwriter, Akela Cooper, and many stars from The Boys, The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power, Sausage Party: Foodtopia, and Like A Dragon: Yakuza.

Taking a look at this gallery fills my heart with happiness, reminiscing about enjoying the festivities at Comic-Con, and taking part in a celebration of what it’s like to be a Nerd of Color at a terrific event that celebrates fandom!
