The teaser trailer and new first-look images have been released for Caddo Lake, which comes from producer M. Night Shyamalan and the writer-director duo of Celine Held and Logan George. The cast includes Dylan O’Brien, Eliza Scanlen, Diana Hopper, Caroline Falk, Sam Hennings, Eric Lange, and Lauren Ambrose.

When an eight-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes, a series of past deaths and disappearances start to link together, forever altering a broken family’s history.

According to the press release, the filmmakers were inspired by a photograph of the real Caddo Lake online. This led them to visit the cypress forest that rests on the border of Texas and Louisiana multiple times.
