Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, and Debra Jo Rupp star as Jennifer Kale, Alice Wu-Gulliver, and Sharon Davis in Marvel Television’s Agatha All Along. The first two episodes premiere on September 18 at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET, exclusively on Disney+.

In “Agatha All Along,” the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…
“I mean, I spent so much time in WandaVision being depressed that this was just going to a party and a lot of witches,” Rupp excitedly expressed. “It was just so much fun. It was being five years old again. It was such a gift.”

“I think all of the witches are looking to get some sort of personal goal by the end of the road and what a lot of us are dealing with is a lot of trust issues. Jenn has been pretty on her own and solo for a while and kind of feeling rejected from the witch community,” Zamata shared. “So going on this journey with witches is a huge risk for her and she’s really stepping out of her comfort zone. I think as the journey goes along, she realizes that we actually all need each other and this coven is here for a reason.”
Ahn continued, adding, “Yeah, I think that all of them may think they know what it is that they want but actually, the power that they already have is something that gets revealed in community. So I think that is something that they all have in common.”

I spoke with the trio about each of their characters, their favorite misconceptions about witches, adding to the Marvel legacy, fun behind-the-scenes memories, and more.
