Something about Lord of the Rings and Christmas feels right. Coming this December is the new animated film The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim. Today, we just got some new artwork for the highly anticipated release!
Executive produced by Peter Jackson, and directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), the new film tells the story of Helm Hammerhand (Brian Cox) and his daughter Héra (Gaia Wise). Set 183 years before the original trilogy, it depicts a war between House Hammerhead and the Dunlending army to determine the fate of Helm’s stronghold Hornberg.
