Happy Franchise Friday! We’re continuing our coverage of HBO’s hilarious sitcom The Franchise. It’s always an amazing privilege to sit down with actors and performers you admire, but when you share a laugh with them, there’s truly nothing better! I was so fortunate to do so with the show’s wonderful stars Jessica Hynes and Daniel Brühl .
MCU fans everywhere will of course recognize Brühl as the one-and-only Helmut Zemo, as well as a brilliant actor from other terrific films like Rush, Inglourious Basterds, and The Alienist. Fans of Edgar Wright’s work, including his seminal sitcom Spaced, will know Hynes as the wonderful and brilliant comedian/actress/writer that she is, turning in wonderful performances in Shaun of the Dead, Son of Rambow, and There She Goes. We were able to share some terrific laughs, discussed whether or not Brühl is done with the MCU, and most of all, what we can expect from this season on The Franchise!
