The dusk has fallen. The master of darkness rises. And evil has come to theaters! From acclaimed director Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman) comes a new vision of evil with his remake of Nosferatu. To celebrate the upcoming Christmas release of the gothic tale of terror, we had the opportunity to sit with Eggers, himself, as well as cast members Lily-Rose Depp, Emma Corrin, and the legendary Willem Dafoe.
Reimagining a classic takes a boldness not many filmmakers can live up to. Thankfully Eggers is not your average filmmaker. With his extraordinary vision, and impressive understanding of horror, he was the absolute perfect director to bring the gothic German expressionist story. Helping him fulfill the prophecy of his passion project, as it was something Eggers has been wanting to do since 2015, are a who’s who of impressive actors, including Dafoe, Corrin, and Depp. So getting to chat with all of them about what it took to revolutionize the timeless story for modern audiences was an absolute privilege.
