N.O.C. One-Shot: Why Wanting Diverse Comics is Not Enough
#WeNeedDiverseBooks is a powerful hashtag and message. But we can’t just want these books. We have to support the ones that are already out there too. The latest One-Shot from Shawn Taylor (@reallovepunk) gets at some of the reasons why.

Hi, totally agree with what you are saying here. I only recently got into comics (within the last month or so) but I have noticed the same issue when people say there is a lack of female comic characters. In my one month reading comics I have thoroughly enjoyed reading She-Hulk and Power Girl comics but then I see that they have been cancelled over and over again because people aren’t buying them. Diversity will only come when people start to genuinely support it, rather than just making a lot of noise. “Put your wallets where your politics are” as you said in your video.
