The creative team behind the critically acclaimed Image Comics series Monstress — Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda — made a rare appearance together at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 and we were able to spend a few minutes with them for a special Hard NOC Life chat!
Marjorie speaks about the importance of creating strong, compelling characters who are women of color and the feeling of awe she gets whenever she new pages sees Sana’s art. Through an interpreter, Sana speaks about the honor and responsibility of translating Marjorie’s scripts into art that remains faithful to her storytelling style.

love this book and the creators. so so amazing. been an admirer of marjorie since her work in the x-universe
