Leslie Grace Shares First Look in Costume as ‘Batgirl’

Just moments ago, Leslie Grace revealed on twitter a first look at herself in costume as Batgirl, alongside a dialogue quote from Chuck Dixon and Scott Beatty’s classic Batgirl: Year One graphic novel.

The costume itself is clearly inspired by the Burnside era of the character, which makes sense because that costume design was just begging to be translated to live action!

And anyone who doubted the In the Heights star should “just breathe” because Grace looks amazing in the costume!

Batgirl — starring Grace, Michael Keaton, JK Simmons, and Brendan Fraser and directed by
Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah
from a script by Christina Hodson — is due to stream on HBO Max some time this year.
