Director Mike Flanagan returns to Netflix with his upcoming horror mystery-thriller The Midnight Club, about a group of terminally ill teenagers who gather together at midnight to tell horror stories. One night, they make a pact to attempt to contact the first of them to die from beyond the grave. After one of them passes away, strange things begin to occur.
Co-created by Leah Fong, the cast includes Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, William Chris Sumpter, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, and Sauriyan Sapkota as the members of the Midnight Club. Heather Langenkamp plays the enigmatic doctor who runs the hospice care that they teens live in. The series will also include Zach Gilford, Samantha Sloyan, and Matt Biedel.
