Just when we solved one mystery, another one opens for the NBC series Quantum Leap.
From the looks of the Season 2 trailer, Ben (Raymond Lee) did not make it back to his timeline and is still leaping into bodies. This season sees Ben leaping into a spy in the ’60s, an accused witch during the Salem Witch Trials, and present during the 1992 LA Riots. Magic (Ernie Hudson), Addison (Caitlin Bassett), Ian (Mason Alexander Park), and Jenn (Nanrisa Lee) find themselves still trying to find a way to bring Ben back.
During our visit to the set early this year, Lee reveals there could be a possibility of Ben finding love during his leaps. Although his relationship with Addison was reaffirmed during the finale, the fact that Ben is still not back in his timeline has put a strain on their relationship. In the trailer, we see Ben explaining to Hannah Carson (new series regular Eliza Taylor) about the time traveling, as to be completely transparent in this potential relationship.
NBC has announced two new series regulars — Taylor plays Hannah Carson, a “complex young woman, who may be more than she appears,” reads the official description provided by the network. Peter Gadiot plays Tom Westfall, a former special forces soldier and a high-ranking US Army Officer in the realm of Army Intelligence — someone who could possibly be in conflict with Magic and his team.

Quantum Leap Season 2 premieres on October 4 at 8pm on NBC, with new episodes arriving the next day on Peacock.
