Running away from something truly frightening is a recurring theme for any Halloween celebration. Snow White ran away from the Huntsman, and Ichabod Crane was trying to get away from the Headless Horseman. If it’s chasing you with murderous intent, you run. However, runDisney has something not as scary planned for runners of all experiences, and they are just dying to reveal some of the new registration and event dates, including the addition of new Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend to their 2024-2025 race season.
The Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend haunts its way to The Happiest Place on Earth on September 5-8, 2024. The four-day event conjures up Halloween-themed kids races, yoga, a 5K, 10K and half marathon – along with a ghoulish two-race challenge (10K and half marathon).
In addition to the newly announced Disneyland Halloween Half-Marathon, runDisney has also announced the registration and event dates for their virtual series, Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, and the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend.
runDisney also has printable training programs for beginners, intermediates, and experts. There are also tips to help you prep for your big race day. Both are designed by former Olympian and world-class athlete, Jeff Galloway.
And if you don’t live in California or Florida, or live in one of those state but want to run a race that isn’t in your state, then head on over to the “Plan Your Trip” page to help you find the perfect lodging and, of course, get ready to celebrate your achievement at the Happiest Place on Earth.
