The ‘80s were a heck of a decade, with some of the cheesiest, but also most legendary TV shows ever. You had The A-Team, 21 Jump Street, Dukes of Hazzard, etc. Less known, but equally as popular to the decade, was a show called The Fall Guy. It ran for five seasons starting in 1981, and told the story of a Hollywood stuntman who moonlighted as a bounty hunter. Now The Fall Guy is coming back to the big screen courtesy of Universal Pictures and the Ken-of-the-Year himself, Ryan Gosling. Today we have the official trailer for the film!
In addition to Gosling, The Fall Guy is also starring the incredible Emily Blunt, and is going to be directed by a man who knows a thing or two about stuntwork, John Wick co-director David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Hobbs and Shaw, Atomic Blonde, Bullet Train). Take a look at some of the crazy work Leitch, Blunt, and Gosling are doing for the highly anticipated release in the new trailer below:
As you can see, Gosling is working overtime to do some really terrific, explosive work here. But without missing that hilarious awkward Ken charm we love him for. The trailer really captures the cheesiness of the ‘80s show, but with some of that “David Leitch” badass flair!
Universal also released the first poster for the film which you can see here:

The Fall Guy hits theaters March 1, 2024!
