Walt Disney Animation Studio has announced the digital and Blu-ray release dates for their latest animated musical, Wish. The film, which hit theaters yesterday, becomes available from all major digital retailers including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu on January 23 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD March 12. Of course, for those that want more than just the movie will be happy to know that it comes with a ton of bonus features.

Directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, who uses a script written by Jennifer Lee and Allison Moore, Wish features the voice talents of Academy Award-winner Ariana DeBose and Chris Pine, with Grammy-nominated Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice penning seven original songs. The film grossed $209 million at the global box office, making it the fourth-highest grossing animated feature of 2023.

Wish follows Asha (Ariana DeBose), a sharp-witted idealist in the kingdom of Rosas, makes a powerful wish that’s answered by Star, a ball of boundless energy. Soon, Asha and Star must face a formidable foe — King Magnifico (Chris Pine), the rule of Rosas — to save her community and prove that when one brave human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things happen.

Some bonus features include a “sing-along” edition, which allows audiences to sing along with the characters. Once Upon A Studio, a short celebrating the studio’s centennial anniversary, can also be found on the home entertainment release. There will also be a “making of” documentary that takes a look at what makes a Disney movie so iconic, redefining a wish for a new generation, a peek inside the Disney archives, looking at the real-life locations that inspired the Kingdom of Rosas, a profile on Asha, Star, and her friends, and the creative artists looking back on the Disney legacy. The obligatory deleted scenes, deleted songs, discovering Easter eggs, and outtakes are also included.
