Another Liane Moriarty adaptation is headed to screen. Peacock recently released the teaser trailer for its upcoming mystery drama series Apples Never Fall, based on the novel of the same name.

Apples Never Fall centers on the seemingly perfect Delaney family, comprised of retired tennis coaches Stan (Sam Neill) and Joy (Annette Bening) and their four adult children (Alison Brie, Jake Lacy, Conor Merrigan-Turner, Essie Randles). When Joy suddenly disappears, the kids are forced to reexamine their parents’ marriage and reckon with dark family secrets.

Other starring cast members include Georgia Flood, Jeanine Serralles, and Dylan Thuraisingham. Melanie Marnich penned the adaptation and serves as showrunner and executive producer. David Heyman, Gregory Jacobs, Liane Moriarty, Bening, Joe Hortua, Albert Page, Jillian Share, and Chris Sweeney also executive produce. Sweeney and Dawn Shadforth serve as directors.

This marks the third Liane Moriarty novel to be adapted for television, preceded by HBO’s Big Little Lies and Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers.
