Ken Jeong and Kristen Schaal star as David Kim and Bobbi in My Spy The Eternal City. The movie serves as a follow-up to the 2020 action comedy and is now streaming on Prime Video.
Back by popular demand, My Spy’s dynamic duo, veteran CIA operative JJ (Dave Bautista) and his 14-year-old stepdaughter and protégé Sophie (Chloe Coleman), reunite to save the world when a high school choir tour of Italy is interrupted by a nefarious nuclear plot targeting the Vatican.

“I think also getting to be a comedian and play in an action movie is a dream come true. Every comic wants to do something like this,” Schaal expressed. “We grew up idolizing movies that are spy action movies and then, to get to play a part in one and roll out some zingers is really a dream come true. I had no problem coming back to this movie and I had so much fun.”
Jeong continued, adding, “Yeah, I echo that, just so happy to be a part of this because to me, it was more than a movie, it was just reuniting with friends and family and we got to film internationally. So, to me, it was just getting the band back together. And so, I think all of us had that same collective spirit throughout all three months of shooting, no doubt.”

I spoke with the hilarious duo about the new romance between their characters and their favorite part of reprising these roles.
