MCU directors don’t get more prolific than Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson. They may not be household names to the extent of The Russo Brothers. However, given their stellar work on Moon Knight and Loki Season 2, they are quickly becoming the premiere duo behind some of the MCU’s best works in recent years.

Thus it made incredible sense to be part of the team behind Daredevil: Born Again, and we were recently given the opportunity to chat with them about the new series, debuting March 4 on Disney+.

Moon Knight and Loki Season 2 are among the very best projects to come out of the MCU post-Endgame. And part of the reason are the lower budget, moody, almost horror-infused sensibilities of both Benson and Moorhead. They understand character and story, but also style and grit. Which of course made them the perfect candidates to helm Matt Murdock’s return to Hell’s Kitchen!
