Terry Crews Joins the PAW Patrol Universe in ‘PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie’

Terry Crews has been ‘making his way downtown’ across our movie and TV screens. From the hilarious comedies like White Chicks (2004) and Idiocracy (2006) to heartfelt sitcoms like Everybody Hates Chris (2005) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013) to being the lovable host of America’s Got Talent (2006), Crews has graced our screens for people of all ages to enjoy, but mainly for grown-ups on primetime. (Crews did appear in Cartoon Network’s animated series, Craig of the Creek, as Craig’s dad, but the series originally premiered in the evenings before shifting to Saturday mornings.)

Now, the 6’2″ former professional football player will be there for the tiny pre-school fans as he makes his PAW Patrol debut in Paramount’s newest animated film, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie. In this exclusive feature, Crews gives audiences a First Look at his character, Alistair Stonewall, a mining and explosives expert. With his explosive pecs, Crews shares how excited he is to be part of this franchise. 

Directed by Cal Brunker, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie has the PAW Patrol pups get lost at sea from a mysterious storm and crash-land on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs. They meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has become an expert in all things dino-related. When the PAW Patrol’s archrival, Mayor Humdinger, begins recklessly mining in hopes of exploiting the island for its natural resources, he inadvertently causes a huge, dormant volcano to erupt. The PAW Patrol pups are thrown into a series of high-stakes, dino-sized rescues bigger than anything they’ve done before, as they must stop Humdinger before everything on the island goes extinct.

The film has an all-star cast with Carter Young, McKenna Grace, Terry Crews, Meredith MacNeill, Ron Pardo, Jennifer Hudson, Hayden Chemberlen, Fortune Feimster, Jameela Jamil, Rain Janjua, Bill Nye, Paris Hilton, Lucien Duncan-Reid, William Desrosiers, Nylan Parthipan, and Snoop Dogg, and introducing Henry Bolan. 

Paramount Animation and Spin Master Entertainment’s PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie opens in theatres everywhere on August 14
