Killer Mike Joins All-Star Cast of ‘Ozark’ for its Final Season

According to Billboard, Run the Jewels rapper Killer Mike has been cast in a cameo role of the award-winning Netflix series Ozark. The fourth and final season will close out what has been an extraordinary run for the Byrdes, from dysfunctional suburbanites to underdog money-launderers we can’t help but root for. Details of his role, exclusive to Billboard, include that his character runs into Julia Garner’s iconic Ruth Langmore when she’s at the end of her rope.

The rapper, songwriter, actor, and activist has been on the receiving end of multiple accolades, from a Grammy Award to the Billboard Change Maker Award, and voiced his excitement in joining the final season of the critically received series. The fourth season will include 14 episodes and will open with the Byrde family reflecting on the goings-on that have led them to work at the center of a criminal enterprise in rural Missouri, according to Jason Bateman, star and executive producer of Ozark.

As of writing this, there hasn’t been an official release date yet for the fourth and final season but there continues to be filming in progress. The first three seasons are available on Netflix for you to catch up on before we descend into the chaos of season four with the Byrde family.
