Pre-orders for the the Nintendo Switch OLED Model are live July 15 at 12PM PT, with the console dropping October 8. Despite the news, many fans and gamers have continued to call out the OLED Model for features they feel should have been included in the original Switch, from the new ethernet port, to the more durable kickstand.
Despite the criticisms, Nintendo continues to showcase the new features, which include: “a vibrant 7-inch OLED screen, a wide adjustable stand, a dock with a wired LAN port, 64 GB of internal storage, and enhanced audio.” Unfortunately for fans looking to the OLED model for Joy-Con drift reprieve, it was announced that the console will be using the same Joy-Cons as the original Switch but Nintendo plans on addressing stick drift issues.

Nintendo also highlighted titles in the eShop gamers should pick up sooner than later, including: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, Songs for a Hero: Definitive Edition, Cris Tales, Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
